Deep within the heart of Madikeri, Kodagu, lies KaayamKaad, meaning "Eternal Forest" in the local language.
Step onto 3 acres of Treetop paradise, where the land dips and sways in a 40-degree incline. We are not quite a homestay, and certainly not a resort — it’s something in between, something special. If you choose to seek quiet moments and soulful experience, then come, stay with us, and feel the rhythm of nature.

The space
Mist filled view Rooms: These charming two-room units are ideal for families of four. Misty view rooms is for folks who are open to blend in with the nature and what comes with it, Wake up to misty mornings, sip endless cups of Coorg coffee, feel the breeze through the treetops, and take slow evening walks as the valley lights begin to twinkle.
These twin rooms adjacent to each other is equipped with bathroom, has an open deck / sit out, the rooms are facing the valley.
Guests' can spend their time on the front deck / sit out enjoying the breeze and Mist.
Note: The 3-acre property has other stay options with each of them being private and offering ample private space.
We serve limited but authentic home-cooked meals, made with care — just like everything else here.
Guest access
Guests have access to the 3 acres of open forest space. They are free to walk around the property.
Common area has a water body where folks can sip their coffee, evenings can be spent around the pit area.
Other things to note
Sharing the hilltop with nature's, our Homestay thrives on a pesticide-free partnership.
Food services:
All our prices include Breakfast.
Breakfast -
Timing - 8:30am - 10:30am
* Bread & Eggs Or Flavored Rice or Idly Vada
* Fruit Bowl
Lunch & Dinner are charged. Veg and Nonveg dishes available.
****We do not allow external food to be brought in.
Request to be made 2 hours in advance.
Lunch - timing 1:30 - 3:30 pm
Dinner - timing 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm
High tea - at 5:30pm onwards.
Cleaning services:
Our rooms are cleaned and mopped every day between 11 am and 1 pm.
We request the Keys to be deposited with the caretaker when stepping out of the property.
For guests staying for more than 2 days , we change the linens the 3rd day.
Bath water - There are no geysers in our rooms. This being a hilly rural area power cuts are common, but hot water will be supplied, through the water taps from 6 AM to 10 AM and 6 PM to 9 PM.
Fire pit - Our staff will be available until 10pm
Wifi Name : will provide when guests arrive.
Mosquito-Proofed Rooms: All rooms are fitted with mesh screens to keep mosquitoes out. Occasionally, a few insects may sneak in – just let us know or ensure the mesh doors are properly closed.
Leeches During Misty Weather: During heavy mist or after overnight rains, leeches may become active. If you're walking in with pets, please check them to avoid bringing leeches indoors.
No Pesticides Used: We consciously avoid using pesticides. Our philosophy is to let nature thrive – and invite you to explore it mindfully.
